The 2025-2026 Tentative Budget does not show any actual expenses from prior years. Could you imagine trying to run your household by only estimating what you think you will spend, and never reviewing what you actually spent. This is precisely what has been happening with our budget over the past 4 years, Actual expense lines are no longer provided.

Starting with the 2023-2024 budget, the quality and quantity of information provided to residents and taxpayers has been significantly reduced. Financial transparency has been eliminated.

The 2022-2023 Adopted Budget and prior budgets showed actual expenses for prior years, projected totals for the current year, and columns for the tentative and adopted budget.

The 2023-2024 Adopted Budget eliminated any actual expenses from prior years and projections for the current year. The proposed numbers from the tentative budget have also been eliminated.

The 2024-2025 Budget continued to not provide any actual expenses from prior years and projections for the current year. The proposed numbers from the tentative budget have also been eliminated.
